Good things that can remind you of Bad smelling things.

This morning as I was preparing to write my blog there was some chips with french onion dip left over from last night sitting on my computer desk.  Though you may find yourself asking what kind of slob leaves his food sitting out over night, let alone in his study? Regrettably I am not the focus of this topi; however the smell emanating from those chips is.  I find myself smelling my armpits over and over because the French Onion dip smells remarkably like nasty B.O.. Which got me thinking its about time we make a list of things that we smell in everyday life that if smelled in one context is a good thing, in another a bad thing.

  1. Deviled Eggs (or eggs in general): Have you ever noticed that eggs smell more like something that eeked out of someones rear end? If you smell it in the kitchen it is fine, however in the bedroom or living room you are trying to figure out who floated an Air Biscuit.
  2. Chips and Salsa/Dip: Maybe its just the saltiness or maybe its the slightly fermented smell but doesn't it smell like you have wondered into the locker-room of your local gym?
  3. Ham (let me apologize beforehand because this is a personal one): I once had the opportunity of going to a cadaver lab and I hate to break it to you those dead bodies their smelled just like a Christmas Ham, which is why I cannot bring myself to eat it anymore without wanting to blow chunks, anywho..
  4. Chili: Some brands of Chili like the ones my wife uses smell remarkably like Dog poop.  I remember once my wife was cooking chili downstairs and I was upstairs ready to beat my dog while on the hunt to find where to dog pooped in the house.
  5. Stale Bread: Grandmas house need I say more.
This is just a short list of a few of the things I could come up with, feel free to add your own and I look forward to hearing from you!
